Speed and agility workouts compliment and improve performance of all sports. This workout improves acceleration, deceleration, foot speed, quickness and change of direction. Speed and agility training increases the athlete's ability to move fast, which in turn will help the athlete raise their game.
Core stability/strength enables athletes to control their body position, generate optimum power and transfer force along the kinetic chain. Core stability is often needed in rotational movements, which is required in almost every sport. By strengthening core stabilizers, athletes can maximize strength and power within their movement patterns.
By committing to a sport-specific training program, athletes are able to practice muscle memory drills and conditioning formats that are designed to improve their overall performance in their sport. This maximizes their response to and recovery from the physical demands of their sport, which are vastly different from sport to sport.
